NWC starts implementation of 2 sanitation projects in Northern Borders worth SR +400 million

The National Water Company (NWC), represented by its Northern Cluster, has started the implementation of two sanitation projects in the Northern Borders region at a total cost of more than 400 million Saudi Riyals.

 

The company stated that the two environmental projects include the construction of a tertiary wastewater treatment plant in the city of Arar with a capacity of 40,000 cubic meters per day and a lifting station with a capacity of 72.000 cubic meters per day, with a total value of more than 341 million Saudi Riyals, as well as the construction project of sewage lines and networks in Rafhaa Governorate with a length of more than 74 kilometers and the construction of a lifting station with a total capacity of more than 22,000 cubic meters per day, with a total value of more than 59 million Saudi Riyals.

 

NWC emphasized that these projects come within the framework of its goals and strategies aimed at expanding the provision of water and environmental services to keep pace with the growing demand for these services, in addition to improving the quality of life and services for the population in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
