NWC Completes Qilwah Water Networks Project Worth SAR37+ Million to Support Al-Baha Summer Season

The National Water Company (NWC) announced that its Southern Cluster has completed the implementation of the drinking water pipelines and networks project in Qilwah Governorate, Al-Baha region. The project, which cost over SAR37 million, is set to serve more than 10,000 beneficiaries. Its completion aligns with the approved timelines and comes in response to the growing demand for water. NWC reaffirmed its commitment to applying the highest quality standards across all its projects.

The company said that the project included the implementation of water transmission pipelines and networks in Qilwah, with a total length of 141,870 meters. Additionally, a pumping station with a total daily capacity exceeding 8,400 cubic meters was built to expand service coverage, and supply water to the largest possible number of residents in the governorate and its villages.

NWC indicated that this initiative comes in preparation for the summer season in Al-Baha, during which the demand for water increases significantly. The company added that the project is part of its continued efforts to promote operational efficiency, improve water distribution and delivery to its beneficiaries, contribute to water security, and provide sustainable water services across all cities and governorates of the Kingdom, in line with well-planned schedules and high quality standards.

The National Water Company called upon its customers in Qilwah Governorate, including its affiliated centers and villages, to request the service through its official channels: the NWC mobile app or the e-Branch at (nwc.com.sa).
