Pioneering leadership program opens to high school students in KSA and Qatar
Career discovery platform, A Learning Lab, is bringing its transformative digital leadership program, the Cambridge Tech Lead Bootcamp (CTLB), to Saudi Arabia and Qatar this summer, to empower young people to capitalize on the emerging AI revolution. Blending leadership principles with cutting-edge technology, the CTLB will equip students with the skills needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving digital world. The interactive three-day program will be staged in Jeddah, Riyadh and Doha this July.
Led by expert facilitators, CTLB integrates AI, data-driven decision-making and agile methodologies into the framework of leadership training. Participants will learn about leadership in the digital age, harnessing artificial intelligence in problem-solving, and adapting to market changes in the era of disruptive innovation. Students will also have the opportunity to hone their storytelling skills and develop and pitch a business idea.
The comprehensive program begins with the foundations of leadership, focussing on how styles are adapting to the tech-driven environment. It goes on to explore the application of AI in making data-driven assessments, to guide strategic planning and to solve emerging business challenges. Students will also be equipped with the skills to consider the balance between AI insights and human judgement in leadership decision-making.
The modules culminate with a personal leadership project that allows participants to apply innovation and strategy to real-world problems. Students will be challenged to simplify complex tech solutions to create a narrative that connects with broader audiences. They will learn about pitching to investors and gain real-time feedback on their business ideas.
Throughout the program, participants will benefit from the guidance and mentorship of students and graduates from the world-renowned University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford. The experts bring a blend of specialized technical knowledge and strategic business leadership experience to provide students with a holistic experience that centers on hands-on learning through real-world case studies and interactive problem-solving exercises.
The program is set in the context of an ever-increasing demand for professional skills in artificial intelligence, as few industries remain untouched by the increasingly transformational technology. The World Economic Forum predicts that AI and tech will create 170 million jobs by 2030, with Big Data Specialists, Fintech Engineers, AI and Machine Learning Specialists and Software and Application Developers among the fastest-growing roles.
Speaking about the opportunities presented by the program, Varun Jain, Founder of A Learning Lab said, “As technology and AI rapidly intersect with every aspect of business, it’s important that young people have the opportunity to explore their potential in the field and become empowered to lead in its advancement. The Cambridge Tech Lead Bootcamp aims to provide a critical first step to help students discover their unique leadership potential at an early stage. By engaging with cutting-edge technology and real-world challenges, participants will develop the skills and competencies to become forward-thinking leaders with the potential to define the future of technological advancement in both an innovative and ethical way.”
The Cambridge Tech Lead Bootcamp will take place at the British International School of Jeddah from 8th July; Riyadh Schools, Riyadh from 13th July; and GEMS Wellington Doha from 19th July.
