The International Maritime Defence Exhibition & Conference (IMDEC) is the largest defence exhibition and conference for the African continent. In its fourth year, IMDEC 2025 plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of naval defence strategies and capabilities for the African region whilst addressing the region’s evolving maritime threats—including piracy, illegal fishing, smuggling, and transnational crime.
Set against the backdrop of the Gulf of Guinea, one of the world’s most critical maritime security hotspots, IMDEC 2025 will convene African and top military leadership, ministries, national security agencies and key stakeholders to engage in high-level discussions, strategic partnerships and capability-building initiatives.
